Luggage Handling, Porters and Debarkation
You will have the
option of allowing someone else (porters) to transport your luggage to
your cabin. If you select this option, Carnival requires specific
luggage tags to be used in order for the porters to know where to
deliver your luggage. As you enter the parking garage or just
after parking your vehicle, you will
turn your bags over to a porter who will deliver them to outside your
stateroom. If you selected "e-documents" from your
Fun-Pass
registration, you will be able to print these. If you selected
traditional (paper) documents, I will be forwarding these to you
approximately 30 days prior to your cruise. Regardless of
paper documents or e-documents, you must place one of these tags on everything
that you turn over to the porters. Make sure you complete the
reverse of the tag that has your contact information should a bag be misplaced.
If you decide to carry on your own luggage, your luggage must meet certain size
restrictions. It must not exceed 24"w x 16"h. For more details,

Carnival's luggage FAQ.
Debarkation Luggage Tags
When it is time to debark the ship, you may carry your luggage off the ship
(no matter the size if you can do it by yourself) or you can use porters again. If you decide
to use the porters, your luggage must be packed and outside your cabin door by
midnight of the last night. Your cabin steward will leave in your cabin
(or you may need to pick them up in the lobby) another set of different luggage tags for you to use.
Pictured below, these tags must be on every piece of luggage that you set outside your door.
On the tag, is a number. This number will correspond to locations in the
customs area where your location will be waiting for you. It also
corresponds to the order in which you will leave the ship. Listen for the
announcements or review the information in the daily itineraries for debarkation
suggestions. Don't forget to add your contact information and keep the ticket
that has the debarkation number on the bottom.
